Bismillah - hir - Rahman - ir - Rahim
All praises to ALLAH and peace and blessing on Mohammad [peace be upon him]
[March forth whether light or heavy, and strive in the way of Allah with your
belongings and your lives. That is best for you, if you only knew it] 9:41.
I have been entrusted with a great responsibility by all of you. I know that
I am weak and helpless but I accept this duty as I remember the saying of Hazrat
Ali (r a), “Although my legs are thin and my eyes have sore but I am ready to
help you o prophet!” Dear sisters! When Islam was confined to the valley
of Makkah, it was suppressed and Muslims were being treated brutally, they were
being laid on burning coal, and were facing all kind of torture. Muslims faced
worst possible adversity, it had few supporters but what we observe is that the
followers always remain stead fast, because they believed and trusted in Allah
the Almighty. They were able to say “Ahad Ahad” [Allah is One] while the were
lie down on burning coal, where their skin melted and cooled the burning coal,
they kept on learning and practicing Islam nothing could stop them, their homes,
their families, their relatives their businesses, when any of these became
hurdle for them they just quit it . When they said ……….they proved it through
their action. They proved that “those who believe are stronger in their love for
Allah.” Today Islam is again facing difficult times all over the world,
whether in Pakistan a country founded in the very name of Islam or in the sacred
land of Palestine. Kashmir, Afghanistan, Waziristan and everywhere else Muslims
are being labeled as terrorists. The torture cells in Kashmir; Abu Gharib &
Guantanamo bay reminds us the streets of Makkah. On the other hands the
followers of Islam are suffering from “Wuhan [Love of Wealth & worldly things]”.
Whether in Lahore, Jeddah or in Dubai, where wealth is in abundance, the worldly
competition and materialism has devoid the Muslims of their spirit. Likewise in
the rural areas the poverty has resulted in Ignorance. Majority is obsessed with
the satanic insinuation and most women have forgotten their responsibilities
what Islam has entrusted with them. There are glad tidings of Paradise
for men & women, who stand up in such gloomy & rock hard situation for the love
of Allah [Fatoobal-Ghuraba’a]. This was the reason for me to accept this
responsibility. Although I am weak and powerless, however, I turn myself toward
the Lord of heaven and the earth, who has control over everything. When HE is
with you, hardship can change into power, the hardship surrenders, the cyclones
change their direction and even small number of Muslims can defeat super powers
of the world. So let us come up front and promise that we’ll sacrifice
everything for Islam, and no excuse shall stop us from this cause of
establishing Islam on ourselves, our families, our neighborhood and the whole
world. [Do you imagine that you’ll be spared without being subjected to any
test? Know well that Allah has not yet determined who strove hard in His cause,
and has not taken any others beside His messenger and the believers as his
trusted allies? Allah is well aware of what you do] 9:16-17 Struggle is a
prerequisite, to be tested is a must, and struggle with your own self is the
first front we have to fight at as Allah [swt] says: [O YOU who have attained to
faith! Why do you say one thing and do another? Most loathsome is it in the
sight of God that you say what you do not do!] 61:2-3 So, remember that
it is our foremost priority to make ourselves an exemplary figure, practicing
Muslim women. Quran is like a candle, a heat that transmits itself from one to
the other, but if the one who is calling towards Quran is himself not acting
upon it then this heat cools down before reaching its target. We must promise
that O Allah! I will act upon your religion; I will enter into it all and all.
My character, my action will be such which pleases You, I will quit lying, back
biting, I will abide all sins, will not involve in any shameful act and my dress
will be dress of Taqwa. Dear sisters! The clothes made of fire are ready
for the ones who wear light and skin hugging dresses and Allah himself keeps
them away from His blessings. So let’s promise that my dress will be the one
which is chosen by Allah and his messenger. My house will be an example of
Islamic values. My children will be mujahidin and not the film hero. No one of
my child will forsake salat, they will be obedient to their Creator, my family
members will be the followers of the same path, and my home will be a center of
Quranic teachings. My abilities and my time will be spent to uphold Islam. No
excuse will stop me. The beginning will be an Islamic revolution in my home and
the end to establish it in the whole world. Do you agree?? Speak up!!!
Promise with me InshaAllah. All the workers and members of JI will become
a beacon light and JI women wing has to play its role to spread the light of
Islam. Remember that no organization can run its members and workers support.
So, always remain available in case you are called. Never present excuses,
empower yourself for the Jihad fee sabeelillah (wasta’eenu bis-sabre was-salat).
Remain on guard for your prayers; never let it become a routine. Your prayers
should be a comfort for you and your recitation of Quran should enlighten your
hearts. Study Quran bring it into your practice be cautious of minor sins. Keep
yourself within the limits set by our religion, don’t travel alone too long with
drivers; try to avoid travelling during night time without Mehram, unless you
are in a large group. Bring your life closer to the life of our prophet. Try to
avoid competing for the luxuries and other material things of this world. Adopt
simplicity, serve your husband, up bring your children as a Mujahid, spread the
circle of Quran in every street and neighborhood and yet always ask forgiveness
from Allah swt, as He said in Quran [Know, then, [O man,] that there is no deity
save God, and [while there is yet time,] ask forgive¬ness for thy sins and for
[the sins of] all other believing men and women: for God knows all your comings
and goings as well as your abiding [at rest]] 47:19. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)
used to ask for forgiveness one hundred times a day. Let's ask the help
of our lord, Insha’Allah He will accept the prayers. Come let’s pray again: O
Allah we present ourselves to you, help us, make us good Muslim, make us
exemplary mothers, make us exemplary workers of the organization and forgive our
weaknesses. Ameen.
