Jamaat-e-Islami Women’s Wing is not just an organization of
women; it is an organization of conscious women. This fact in itself is an
indicator of the quality of our leadership. By the grace of Allah, the Women’s
Wing has always had a highly qualified leadership.
Dr. Rukhsana Jabeen is being elected to lead the organization. She is
Gynecologist from Kharian Punjab, having her own practice. In 1983, she became
member of IJT and after finishing her education in 1989, joined Jamat-e-Islami.
Since then she has been an active member and have taken responsibilities of the
city of Kharian, Gujranwala, then vice to the secretary general Pakistan. She
got married in 1982 when she was in the 4th year of medicine, has 4 sons and all
of them are associated with the organization, one of them is member and another
one is applicant member. Three of them are medical students while 4rth is in the
high school.
